Energy industry company´s inquiries through Google advertising twice as high as from all other marketing channels combined - 'The positive progress in advertising is clearly reflected in our sales figures"

Energiafiksu is a sales channel for consumer customers of Josira Oy, specializing in comprehensive energy solutions. Sales efforts focus particularly on air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps, where Energiafiksu is the official reseller for Scanoffice Oy and operates as a Procurement Security Business in the Pirkanmaa region.

Energiafiksu became a client of Nostamo in the early spring of 2021. Prior to this collaboration, the company had not experimented with Google advertising.

"Previously, we conducted marketing in various magazines and publications without a proper long-term plan. We operated somewhat ad hoc without a thorough analysis of the achieved results," says Marketing Manager Tuomo Ahonen, describing the initial situation.

Conversion tracking was not in place before the start of the collaboration, so a comparison to the previous period cannot be made. Perhaps the second most interesting piece of information is the overall impact of Google advertising compared to inquiries coming from other channels. For companies that have been in operation for a longer time, there is already enough demand to think that one marketing channel cannot make a significant difference to the situation.

However, in the case of Energiafiksu, between April and October, 65.51% of all the company's inquiries came through Google advertising. This means that Google advertising has brought about twice as many inquiries as all other channels combined! This difference has also been reflected concretely in the company's sales.
