Hohdepinnoitus is a company specialized in nanoprocessing various surfaces. The advantages of coating implemented through nanotechnology include reduced wear, increased lifespan, and easier cleaning of surfaces. Hohdepinnoitus has been a pioneer in the field and currently employs over a dozen people. In addition to consumer sales, the company also serves businesses and municipalities.

Hohdepinnoitus became a client of Nostamo in September 2020. Prior to this, advertising was handled internally within the company. Unfortunately, conversion tracking was not as precise before the start of the collaboration, so there is no entirely comparable data available to show the progress. However, Jere Hedman, the CEO of Hohdepinnoitus, describes the initial situation as follows: "Our Google advertising before the collaboration was very limited and done in-house, and the cost of a single lead was very high."

The chart below shows the quantitative development of leads (conversions) generated through advertising since the beginning of the collaboration. Exact figures are not displayed, but the column chart illustrates a clear trend. Comparable data is not available from before the collaboration, but it can be stated that the advertising was at least as effective right from the beginning of the collaboration. When comparing the most recent three months (06-08/2021) with the first three months of the collaboration (9-11/2020), the number of leads has increased by a total of 448 percent, meaning there are 5.5 times more inquiries than at the beginning of the collaboration.

In addition to a modest investment, one of the issues with Google advertising for the company, according to Hedman, was the excessively high cost per lead. Often, when advertising expenditures are significantly scaled up, the cost of a single lead increases. In this case, however, the cost has decreased by 36 percent over the same comparison period. This means that 5.5 times more inquiries are received, and 36 percent less is paid for a single inquiry. (A reminder that this comparison only takes our results into account – changes in cost per lead would likely be much greater if we could compare to the period before the collaboration.)

The results have also been reflected tangibly in the company's business. "Collaboration with Nostamo has significantly facilitated our expansion to another location. The progress in advertising is directly reflected in the number of inquiries and order quantities."

In addition to the good results, Hedman is also satisfied with Nostamo's service. "Nostamo knows their business, the reports are clear and accurate, and they arrive on time. We have made necessary developments to the campaigns and tried out new campaigns based on the 'analyses' made from the reports."
